-Enter Ivypaw
Ivypaw basked in the soft glow, created by patchy moonlight. Silken fur was tossed in the choppy winds. Her velvet felted ears pressed themselves against the crown of her skull. Imploring jade persued the night time's sweet path through her fields. Each paw was fimly planted in the soil she knew as home. Her secret insecurities whispered in her capped ears, the girl stood poised, majestic head tipped back, damp blush colored nose gracing the simple gifts good-night.
So complex were the stars that danced on still pools of chilled water, leaped and spun off wings of swans dancing... All dancing. Sweet as honey, water tickled down her pale throat. Strains of silent melodies sang from her tender soul, laughing and joking with the child-like gurgle of the stream.
In the corner of her ebony-rimmed eye an onyx silhouette cimbed the dips and falls. Oh, she whispered. to far away to catch the scent of the stranger. Her slender muscles tensed. With a wild glint in her eye she bolted down the steep enbankment. Fear boiled up inside her and burst in tremouours bubbles. Her form a pearly streak across heather abounds. Come on... she urged herself aloud a the shadow started to fade, her emerald jewels not straying once from the retreating figure, she paniced. Gritting her teeth as she skidded on loose sand. Rock sculptures around her were just series of dark blurs. Her heart thumped uncontrolably. She angled left, barely avoiding a solid stone. The shadow was clearer now, almost in her grasp.
She was to winded to check the scent of her chase. Everything became a dizzingly dark as her paws hit raw stone, she climbed higher and leaped away from the edge. Stop! she cried breathelessly, her cold body came down hard on the fleeing creature, taking them both down, tumbling onto the spongy ground of the Windclan training hollow. Forcing herself up, she pinned her charge, locking onto the shoulders of the other cat. She gulped in harsh breaths of frosty air, her breath hot, short, and fast. Her flurried optics hurried to solve the mystery of her late night catch. Her sparkling eyes sharpened angrily. She made no move to retreat from her clanmate. She frowned, brow creasing. What are you doing up, prowling around at moonhigh? she demanded, paws binding themselves for forcibly to the cats shoulders.
