So I wrote this story, and I am still writing it. It is un-named, I will ask for names later... Or I will come up with one. So heres the story, at the end or the next post or whatever there will be a poll, with guy names, you have to choose two! Also I will keep a running list of characters, and a brief bit about them, as stuff in the story changes I will add or take away from the list. Anyway... Don't forget to vote! By the way I am only posting the prolouge, you have to vote and give me feedback (any feedback, even things I need to work on!) then I will post more...
Mara's chubby finger's gently gripped the spotted tail of a tame leopard kit. "Play games!" the thumping toddler giggled. The cub flicked her tail a way from the sweaty grasp. The three-year-old tumbled, rocking back and forth in a laughing fit and reached for the tail again. "Jade Jade!" the baby cheered. The animal recoiled her tail and scurried away.
"Mara, Jade! Enough playing It's nearly midnight!" Her hair was bleached blonde, almost white and her slender body was enclosed in an anti-flammable navy suit. The heavy belt around her waist hid weapons unimaginable to the rest of the world, these were unimaginable times. She swooped Mara up into her arms and craddled the now sleepy child in her arms and set her down in the crib.
"Mother..." A young girl with cascading raven hair stood in the doorway.
"Hush now, Mirage." the young woman clasped her shoulders and steered her towards her own room. "Daddy and I will just be out for the night." she murmured lifting her daughter into bed, "Auntie Reed will be here to watch you, hit the red button in case of emergency." she instructed, she drew the covers up till the were under the girl's chin and planted a soft kiss on the girl's forehead before backing from the room, hitting the light switch as she went. Outside the door the woman gave a quick hug to her sister. "Reed, take care of theem, we'll be back by dawn. And remember Mara's allergies."
A handsome young man with curly black hair slung his arm over her shoulders. "Kiki darling, they're going to be fine, they always are."
The red-headed woman nodded, "Pip's right. And she's allergic to cocoa, chocolate, any form."
Kiki nodded approvingly and sighed, "then were off." she led the way to the front door and out to where a sleek car was waiting for them. The heavy metal door slid shut behind the couple.
Reed locked up and lounged on a black leather couch. Jade curled up at her side. Everything in this house was black and white, the appliances silver. Each room sported splashes of a different color. There were no photos or personal belongings at all. A sleek lap-top resting on her thighs , her fingers pounded the keyboard long into the night.
A minute before dawn Reed left, as always instructed. But no one returned.
Mirage woke, lifting her head from the mass of green pillows. "Hello?" she she chirped as tradition. Although this time no one replied. "Hello?" she called again, just in case the hadn't heard her. Still no one answered, she swung her small legs down and tip-toed out of her room, she stumbled down a long hallway and opened the door. Opening the door opposite of her room she trailed down another hallway till she entered the circle that was her sister's room. "Mom, Dad!
